Jammu and Kashmir, the hilly state of North India has some of the best views in the world. So much so that when Jahangir, the Mughal Emperor visited Kashmir in the 17th century, it was him who said “Gar firdaus, ruhe zamin ast, hamin asto, hamin asto, hamin asto” while in a house boat in Dal Lake of Sringar. The quote means if there is a heaven on earth, it is right here in Kashmir. He often used to say that if someone has not visited the heavenly beauty, they really are missing out on something spectacular.

That how mesmerizing the beauty of Kashmir is and the aura of this beautiful state will simply take your breath away. Not only this, as soon as the wintry conditions knock doors and snow starts to fall over the beautiful state, Kashmir become more beautiful. Words are not enough to describe how beautiful Kashmir gets when it snows.

The white blanket of snow makes it look nothing less than a fairytale destination. Why would it not be, right from snow, enchanting wooden houses to apples, Kashmir has everything you’d need for a set of a Snow White movie.
