Hyderabad has been lashed by heavy rains in the past day. Hyderabad city recorded hefty shower to the tune of 83 mm in a span of 24 hours from 8:30 am on Monday, while Greater Hyderabad received 132 mm of rain. The downpour created havoc and chaos across the city. Severe lightning strikes and cloudburst paved way for the hefty showers. Waterlogging and heavy traffic jams brought the city to a standstill. As per media reports, three people have lost their lives due to the heavy showers. However, the rain intensity is likely to reduce over the city but light to moderate showers will continue. Thereafter from October 7, rain intensity may pace up once again. Let’s take a look how the Twitterati reacts to these heavy showers.
