Hyderabad to witness warm and sultry weather

It is that time of the year again when rains are taking a back seat and mercury has started climbing the charts. Hyderabad is no different and has been witnessing warm weather conditions for the last few days.

According to Skymet Weather, the state capital has been observing dry weather conditions for more than one month now. In wake of this, both the maximum and minimum temperatures have been settling above normal average of 32.4°C by a degree or two.

On Thursday, Hyderabad recorded maximum temperature of 33.5°C, while minimum temperature settled at 19.1°C.

Now, a trough is seen extending from North Interior Karnataka up to Central Madhya Pradesh. However, it will only give light rain over Vidarbha region of Maharashtra and East Madhya Pradesh but will escape Telangana.

Moreover, we do not expect any other weather system to form near the region that would give some rain over Hyderabad. Usually also, the city does not receive much rain in February as its monthly average rainfall stands at 9.3 mm only. However, the city has been practically dry so far.

Hence, warm and humid easterly winds from Bay of Bengal will continue to blow over the state including Hyderabad. This will further increase the moisture, which will in turn increase the discomfort.

According to Skymet Weather, coming days will be warm and sultry, while nights will be cool and comfortable.
