The city of Hyderabad has been witnessing good showers for the past few days. So much so that light to moderate rains have been making appearances over the capital city of Telangana. In fact, since the beginning of the month of October, there has not even been one day when Hyderabad witnessed dry weather.

The last 24 hours were also similar and light rainfall was observed over Hyderabad. In a span of 24 hours from 8:30 am on Sunday, Hyderabad Airport witnessed light rains of 6 mm.

However, now, the weather in Hyderabad will once again become dry due to the depression which has formed in west-central Bay of Bengal. Now, winds will converge around this weather system and the moisture feed over Telangana will get cut off for next two to three days.

Thus, the city of Hyderabad will witness a dry Diwali as rainfall activity will remain far away from the Biryani City.

However, once again, this depression will hit the Andhra Coast which is around October 19, on Diwali. Then, the system will move towards the west across North Telangana and will weaken into a low-pressure area.

Thus, scattered rains will commence over Telangana including the City of Nizams.  This means, between October 20 and 22, good rains will make an appearance over Hyderabad during that time.
