The city of Hyderabad has been witnessing dry weather conditions for a long time now. While the city did record very light rains of 0.5 mm on March 21, thereafter, rainfall activity did take a backseat. Moreover, the rainfall had no effect on the temperatures and the City of Nizams continued to witness hot weather.
A day before, the maximum temperature in Hyderabad had settled at a whopping 39.2 degrees, which happens to be the highest of this season. The maximum was about two degrees above the normal levels. However, yesterday saw some drop, in terms of maximums and the day temperature settled at 36 degrees Celsius, which is a notch below the normal levels.

Now, as per weathermen at Skymet Weather, weather is likely to become hotter for the city of Hyderabad and its adjoining areas in Telangana. In fact, the temperatures over these areas may even reach the 40-degree mark. These weather conditions are expected to remain the same until the end of March.
As far as rains are concerned, weather will remain dry throughout the state of Telangana in the coming days as well. Usually, during the Pre-Monsoon period, Telangana receives rain due to the Pre-Monsoon trough which runs through the central parts of Peninsular India. Otherwise, if a wind discontinuity or confluence zone forms in proximity of the region, Pre-Monsoon rains occur.
