Hyderabad has been receiving on and off rains since many days after the arrival of Monsoon. But the region is still waiting for heavy rains over the region.
In the last 24 hours, very light rain occurred over the region. As on July 12, Hyderabad is witnessing normal Monsoon rain by ten percent.

At present, a sea level trough is extending from Northwest Bay of Bengal to North Tamil Nadu Coast and a cyclonic circulation is over Northwest Bay of Bengal. There is no existence of any significant weather system near Hyderabad.
Due to this there is no chance of good rains over Telangana including Hyderabad during the next 2-3 days. But due to presence of Monsoon surge, light to moderate rain may occur over Hyderabad and adjoining eastern parts of the state.

Mainly partly cloudy sky is likely to persist over the area which would lead to patchy rain in some pockets of the state. As per Skymet weather, rain intensity is likely to increase around July 18 and 19 which would make the weather pleasant.
Temperatures will remain close to normal and evening will remain pleasant with the dry westerly breeze over the region. Mercury is likely to increase marginally if rain does not show up over the city.
