Since last few days, Hyderabad has been witnessing fairly widespread Monsoon showers. Several other districts of Telangana including Ramagundam, Hanamkonda, Medak and Nizamabad have also been witnessing scattered light Monsoon rains. Hence, comfortable but humid weather conditions were persisting over the state of Telangana including Hyderabad.
In a span of last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Friday, Hanamkonda recorded14.2 mm of rainfall, Hyderabad 3.4 mm and Ramagundam 1.6 mm.
These weather conditions can be attributed to a low-pressure area which is seen persisting over Odisha and adjoining areas. The axis of Monsoon trough is also seen extending from Punjab, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh and East Madhya Pradesh towards East Central Bay of Bengal. Due to this, rains occurred over Telangana also including Hyderabad.
