Good rains have remained far and few for the youngest state of the country, Telangana and its capital city. Hyderabad and other regions of the state have not received better rains that some isolated light spells. The same has carried on in the last 48 hours as well wherein, Hyderabad has not recorded any rains.
In fact, the last 48 hours were dry for most of the other regions of Telangana as well. As of now also, no significant rain activity is likely over Telangana as the cyclonic circulation is seen over North Andaman Sea. Moreover, an east-west trough is also running via Rayalaseema.
Therefore, most parts of Telangana is expected to remain dry, however, the southern region of the state may receive some scattered rains. The 'city of Nizams' may also witness light occasional showers for the next 2-3 days.

However, in the absence of any significant weather system, heavy rains are not anticipated over the region. The sky may become cloudy at times leading to a marginally comfortable weather. The day will remain warm and night will remain cool and comfortable in most parts of the state.

Due to the nonappearance of good rains, the temperatures that are at present close to the 35-degree mark are also expected to rise further.
As on September 24, the rainfall statistics shows that Telangana is 15% rainfall deficient and with the possibility of dry weather to prevail, this deficiency is likely to scale up.
