After witnessing deluge causing rains in Hyderabad, the weather became subtle and rains over most parts of the state including the capital city reduced drastically. In fact, from the last 2-3 days, only light rains had occurred in the ‘city of Nizams’.
During the span of the last 24 hours from 08:30 am on Thursday, Hyderabad recorded merely 2 mm of light rains. Other districts of the state that recorded light rains include Khammam that recorded 14 mm of rains, Bhadrachalam 2 mm of spells, Nizamabad witnessed 0.1 mm of rains.

As per Skymet Weather, a cyclonic circulation persists over Telangana. A third cyclonic circulation which is over East Central Bay of Bengal is extending up to mid-tropospheric level.

A Low-Pressure Area, under the influence of this weather system, is likely to develop over North Bay of Bengal within the next 48 hours. Furthermore, a trough also connects with all these systems. Within the next 24-48 hours, all these systems are likely to move slightly northwards.
In the wake of this, rains are likely to occur over Telangana today. Further, these rains make pick up pace after 24 hours. Hyderabad is also expected to record light to moderate rains for the next 24-48 hours.
