The city of Hyderabad has been recording good showers for quite some time now. In fact, it has been about over a week now that rains have been making constant appearances over the City of Nizams. The last 24 hours also saw similar weather conditions with the region witnessing light rain showers in some parts of the city.
In a span of 24 hours from 8:30 am on Sunday, Hyderabad Airport observatory recorded a mere 2 mm of
rainfall. Meanwhile, other parts of Telangana also witnessed light rainfall activity.

These rainfall activities can be attributed to a trough which is running from the cyclonic circulation over Odisha up to the cyclonic circulation which is over South Konkan and Goa. The trough is running in proximity of Hyderabad which is why light rains have been appearing over the Biryani City.

Now, as per weathermen at Skymet Weather, this trough is expected to persist and give good rains over the city of Hyderabad. In fact, these upcoming rains will be of light to moderate intensity. The possibility of isolated heavy rains can also not be completely ruled out.
Due to these rainfall activities, temperatures will also witness a drop and comfortable weather will prevail over the region.
