Now, temperatures are expected to remain slightly above the normal levels. Sky is expected to remain partly cloudy. Humidity levels will also increase over Hyderabad and adjoining areas due to inflow of southeasterly winds from the Bay of Bengal.
Fortunately, relief is in sight as a trough is likely to form over Telangana around March 16. This trough is expected to increase the cloud cover and with this, scattered rain and thundershowers are expected over Hyderabad and its adjoining areas on March 16 and 17.
Due to these rains, weather is expected to become comfortable after these rainfall activities due to which maximums are likely to plummet to quite an extent. In fact, they may even reach around 30 degrees.
Telangana is one of the regions wherein not much rainfall activity is seen during the Pre-Monsoon season. In fact, its monthly average for March is 17.8 mm only and so far, the city has not even witnessed a drop of rain in March.
