Hyderabad continues to get light Monsoon rains; intensity to reduce

Since last few days, light to very light rains have been occurring over Telangana including Hyderabad. These showers have kept the weather pleasant over the state capital.

In the span of last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Tuesday, Hanamkonda recorded 6 mm of rain, Ramagundam 1.2 mm and Hyderabad 0.7 mm.

During the next 48 hours, the intensity of rains will reduce, humid and warm weather conditions will return over Hyderabad and adjoining areas. However, light rains are still possible over Hyderabad but any moderate to heavy showers are ruled out for the next two to three days.

With this, day temperatures over Telangana will increase marginally. In fact, mercury will be hovering around 30 degrees in Hyderabad.

According to Skymet Weather, there are no significant weather systems prevailing over Telangana and hence, rains will also reduce over the state.

Moreover, a well-marked low pressure area has formed over Northeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas. Due to this, the moisture content will concentrate over the state now. This will lead to further decrease in rains over the state of Telangana.
