The state of Telangana is suffering from intense hot and humid weather for quite some time now, That too such an extent that the day temperatures are settling above 40-degree mark, well above the normal limits.
This clearly shows that intense heatwave conditions are prevailing over many parts of this region. According to Skymet weather report, light to moist winds from the Bay of Bengal is entering but not able to produce thunderclouds due to upper-level dry winds.
Hyderabad and adjoining areas will also continue to receive light thunderstorm activities with squally winds towards late afternoons. These weather activities may not be widespread but one or two odd spots may receive moderate spells.

Hyderabad has recorded maximum temperature of 42.7°C on Friday, which is almost 4°C above normal. The city of palaces also recorded 1.4 mm of rainfall towards evening. Though the temperature will not drop with these weather activities. No respite is expected for next 2-3 days from hot and humid conditions. Rainfall will not be up to the mark.
The city has even witnessed some very good showers a few weeks earlier. However, rains took a backseat thereafter and only traces were observed in some regions of Hyderabad making the weather hot and humid.
