Hot and dry weather ahead for Delhi NCR

June 2, 2022 5:00 PM |

The national capital had been observing the monsoon rainfall activity for the past few days. However, now the systems that had been giving rains over the national capital have moved away.

Therefore, dry weather has taken over and with no weather systems in sight, Delhi is all set to see some dry weather conditions with rising temperatures in the coming days.

In fact, maximums have already started increasing across Delhi and the NCR region. Yesterday, Jafarpur recorded 44 degrees, Mungeshpur saw 45.2 degrees, Najafrgarh 44.9 degrees, Palam 43 degrees, and Pitampura 44.4 degrees. Mungeshpur witnessed heat wave conditions with maximums being five degrees above the normal levels.

Now also, maximums will continue to be on the higher side. Winds will be strong due to which loo conditions are expected to be seen. The weather will remain hot and dry, which will be difficult for Delhiites. Moreover, no rain in sight will make the weather hotter and slightly unbearable.
