A feeble Western Disturbance is likely to approach during the next 24 hours over North Himalayan region. Also, an induced Cyclonic Circulation would form over Central Pakistan and adjoining West Rajasthan in the lower levels. This disturbance may cause light rain and thundershower activities over some parts of Jammu and Kashmir and over a few pockets of East and Himachal Pradesh. Temperatures would drop over the region marginally. Night temperatures may rise, however.
Uttarakhand on the other hand will remain mainly dry. Marginal rise in temperatures is expected over the hilly areas.
Over the plains, Rajasthan will continue to remain the hottest belt, with a few places experiencing heat wave conditions (especially the western and northern parts).
Heat wave may develop in parts of Southwest Haryana and some parts of West Uttar Pradesh.
Isolated dust storm activity (mainly light) may occur in parts of West Punjab, and extreme North Rajasthan. Delhi will continue with very hot weather conditions. Morning will be comfortable with light dust and haze around. As the day progresses, it will be very hot and uneasy. Very light winds would prevail during the day.
