These rainfall activities have been attributed to the weather conditions prevailing across the region. While a cyclonic circulation persists over the Gujarat region, the off-shore trough along the West Coast has also been giving good rains over the region.
Heavy rains in Mumbai as well as Thane has resulted in waterlogging in many areas of the cities. In fact, areas including the Andheri Subway as well and adjoining areas have been waterlogged. Mumbai local has also been the sufferer in many areas as waterlogging has also taken place in railway tracks!
