During the last 24 hours, moderate rains occurred over multiple northern districts of Telangana. Places like Adilabad and Nizamabad have received light to moderate rains over many parts.
Now, heavy to very heavy rains are likely to continue over these northern districts of Telangana. These places might see rains today and tomorrow. A few places like Adilabad, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Nirmal and nearby districts might receive these heavy to very heavy rains. Light to moderate rains are possible over rest parts of Telangana.
Telangana has received normal rains till now. At present, rainfall figures stand at par.
Good rains will continue over the state for the next 24 to 48 hours. Thereafter, the weather will become almost dry. Isolated light rains are possible at a few places. However, the temperatures will not rise much as partly cloudy to cloudy skies will continue to prevail.
Monsoon will continue for the month of September over the state. Thereafter, gradually Northeast Monsoon will set in. We do not expect any prolonged dry spell over the state of Telangana for the remaining days of September.
