Since last few days Telangana has been receiving heavy rainfall. The low-pressure areas which are central Bay of Bengal are travelling across the Telangana giving heavy downpour. Between June 1 and July 9, the state has received large access rain of 60% Telangana has received 298.9 mm rain against the normal of 186.5 mm.
During last 24 hours many districts of Telangana have recorded heavy rainfall. Ramagundam 228 mm, Nizamabad 127 mm, Hyderabad 39, Khammam 40 mm and Adilabad recorded 27mm rain. Another fresh low-pressure area has developed over Southern parts of Odisha.
This low-pressure area will also travel in westerly direction across Telangana. Heavy rains are expected to continue over many districts of the state until July 11. Rain surplus will increase further over the state in coming days. Weather of Telangana will not go completely dry on and off race will continue thereafter as well.
