These showers can be attributed to the westward movement of the cyclonic circulation over Northeast Madhya Pradesh. Also, the off-shore trough has become active along the West Coast. Due to these weather systems, the moisture incursion has increased over the region.
As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, the cyclonic circulation is expected to shift further westwards due to which rainfall activity will witness an increase soon. Thus, moderate to heavy rains will continue over the region. In fact, a few very heavy spells also cannot be ruled out. These rains are expected to continue for at least 2 to 3 days. Not only this, more areas will witness more showers.
