The state of Kerala has been witnessing some moderate to heavy rains in the last 24 hours. In fact, during the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Monday, Kannur recorded 104 mm of rain, Kozhikode saw 104 mm, Karipur 95 mm, Alappuzha 69 mm and Kochi 69 mm.
Otherwise, Kerala has not been able to catch up with the deficiency and remains deficient with a shortfall of 21 percent as of now. But we can expect some rains today with heavy spells, tomorrow also similar conditions may be seen.
Day after, some reduction may be witnessed and rains may ease up a little. No major catch up in deficiency is likely but some rains may still be seen in the coming few days.
