The state of Gujarat in terms of rains is surplus wherein Saurashtra and Kutch region has received more Monsoon rains than the other part of Gujarat.
Talking about systems, the Bay of Bengal has been active, there is a low Pressure area, which may intensify further and also there is a Cyclonic Circulation on the other side, which is the Northeast Arabian Sea region. Joining these two is a shear zone which is passing through and through Gujarat.
The system in Bay is entering land, moving further towards Maharashtra and adjoining areas of Madhya Pradesh, coming closer home, thus, intensity of rains will increase.
Today, moderate rains may be seen with isolated heavy showers. Tomorrow, rains may be moderate to heavy rains. Around August 10, the system will intensify, come further closer when a very well marked Cyclonic Circulation will be seen over the state of Gujarat. Thus, heavy to very heavy rains may be seen in many parts. Around August 12, rains may reduce a little.
