According to Skymet Weather, a low-pressure area was over the Kutch region. Due to this, heavy to very heavy rains occurred over parts of Gujarat. Moreover, as this weather system still persists over the Kutch region, more rains are likely to continue over Gujarat and adjoining areas for the next two days. The intensity of rains and thundershowers is expected to reduce marginally, scattered light rains along with few moderate spells cannot be ruled out over Gujarat. As of now, the month of July has been the rainiest for Gujarat.
