The state of Telangana is all set to see some good rains with a system coming out in the Bay of Bengal. A low pressure area will form any time soon with the system also expected to move in land.
This rainy spell is not expected to be a short drawn one but will be prolonged. The Northern half of the state will see more rains as compared to southern half both today and tomorrow. The spread and intensity is likely to increase on September 10 and 11. September 12 onward, heavy rains may be seen with rains to start reducing Sep 13 onward.
The cities of Adilabad, Nizamabad, Hyderabad, Khammam, Mehboobnagar, Karimnagar, Warangal, Medak etc. will see more rains as compared to the other parts of the state.
Hyderabad and suburbs have already seen rains, parts seeing heavy showers in the last 24 hours. The city observatory recorded 42 mm rains, Hakimpet station saw 74 mm, Rajendranagar 39 mm and more rains will be seen in the coming days.
