Rajasthan has been seeing good rains this Monsoon season. In fact, both eastern and the western regions have recorded good showers and remain in the surplus zone as of now.
Currently, the southern parts of the state may see some good rains for cities including Jhalawar, Bhilwara, Sirohi, Baran, and Udaipur. These rains will occur due to the Monsoon trough line and a shear zone running across Rajasthan.
There will be a break after this but heavy rains may make an entrance over Rajasthan soon. Around August 15 and 16, the state may see heavy showers. On August 15, the cities of Bhilwara, Jalore, Bindu, Kota, Baran, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Sirohi, Banaswada, Jaipur, Ajmer, and Sikar.
On the 16th rains will shift westward, and cities of Jodhpur, Phalodi, Barmer, Jalore, Pali etc. may see some rainfall activities during this period.
