Rainfall is likely to continue along the foothills during next 24 to 48 hours.

Isolated heavy rains are likely over Uttarakhand and northwest parts of Uttar Pradesh. Foothills of Bihar and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal will receive good showers. Places like Cooch Behar and Siliguri, Jalpaiguri and Dinajpur could receive heavy rains.

As of now, Southwest Monsoon has covered entire West Bengal and Sikkim. It has also advanced over some parts of Jharkhand and Bihar. Thus, Monsoon rains in these states will keep temperatures around the normal range.
