Tamil Nadu has been witnessing reduced rainfall activities after the deluge which ravaged many parts of the state. However, heavy to very heavy rains are all set to lash parts of Tamil Nadu once again. In fact, Chennaiites are expected to see a deluge of hefty rains in many parts.
A Cyclonic Circulation is over Southwest and Southcentral Bay of Bengal. Very soon, the system is expected to induce a low-pressure area, which will move in a westerly direction towards Tamil Nadu Coast.
Initially, rains will be heavy over southern parts of Tamil Nadu right from Pamban to Cuddalore around November 25. By November 26, rains will be intense over northern parts of Tamil Nadu and south coastal Andhra Pradesh including Chennai, Kavali, Nellore, Tirupati continuing until November 28.
This weather system is not expected to give heavy rains over interior regions of South Peninsular India as the system will not move inland unlike the last system did.
