Heavy rains all set to lash Bihar

The state of Bihar has seen some light rains with isolated intense rains during the last 24 hours. In fact, during the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Thursday, Bhagalpur recorded 120 mm of rains, Supaul 6 mm, Gaya 6 mm, Chhapra 2 mm, Patna 1 mm.

Now, both today and tomorrow will see heavy rains for the state of Bihar, especially the eastern half, closer to the foothills. Rains will be heavier tomorrow as compared to today.

The Low Pressure Area over Jharkhand and adjoining areas is moving north and northeastwards. The system is expected to persist for these two days.

In fact, extremely heavy rains are also expected in the cities of Araria, Sitamarhi, Purnea, Katihar, Saharsa, Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Madhubani, Supaul, Khagaria, Madhepura etc.
