Due to the axis of monsoon trough that is currently over northern parts of Punjab. We expect moderate rains with few heavy spells over Uttarakhand to continue for at least the next 48 hours.
However, intensity of rain is expected to reduce over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. But Uttarakhand may witness few incidents of landslides and flash floods during the next two to three days.
Vaishno Devi may also receive scattered light rain and making the weather comfortable. Thus, we can say that it is a good time to visit the holy shire. Meanwhile, the tourists heading towards Uttarakhand must take precautions as the weather conditions may cause disruptions.
