Scattered rain is expected to continue over many parts of north India except Punjab and west Rajasthan where rain will be isolated. There is some good news for Delhi too as patchy rain will continue over the city and NCR for next 2-3 days making the weather a little comfortable.

Central India will also have scattered rain with isolated heavy over east Madhya Pradesh, Vidharbha and Chhattisgarh. There is a low pressure area over west Madhya Pradesh and adjoining south east Rajasthan due to which widespread rain is also expected over Gujarat with heavy to very heavy at some places over the west coast. Rain would maintain over central India tomorrow as well but reduce in intensity. And temperatures will maintain at 2-3 degrees below normal.

Northeast India will have fairly widespread rain for a couple of days but it would not be enough to fill the rainfall deficit that the region is reeling under.

In east India, fairly widespread rain is expected over gangetic West Bengal and Orissa. There are chances of heavy rain over some parts of Orissa due to the upper air circulation over the North West Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood. Under the influence of this circulation a low pressure is also likely to bring rain over Chhattisgarh, Vidharbha and Madhya Pradesh in the next 2-3 days.

West coast would continue to have widespread rain with heavy to very heavy over Konkan and Goa. Isolated heavy rain is also expected over coastal Karnataka and Kerala. Tamil Nadu will continue to remain mainly dry.
