The city of Mumbai has been seeing moderate to heavy rains with some isolated very heavy spells for the past few days. During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Sunday, Mumbai recorded 101 mm of rains in the last 24 hours.
The city has already surpassed its monthly normal of 919.9 mm and the total rains so far have been recorded at 1291 mm.
The city of Mumbai will now see moderate to heavy rains today and tomorrow as well as the day after tomorrow. Rainfall activity is expected to reduce thereafter with moderate showers expected between July 27 and 29.
Rains will be seen every day but the intensity will keep on reducing. After July 29, rains will further reduce and finally pick up in the initial days of August.
