Mumbai Rains continue to keep their weekend game strong wherein it does not pour during the weekdays and as Friday approaches, rains begin to lash the city, being heavier in pockets and causing water logging in many areas.
This week, Mumbai rains were on the quieter side with just few showers being witnessed in between. However, heavy rains made an appearance last night with Santa Cruz witnessing 43 mm of rains while Colaba saw moderate showers of 21 mm.
Today, the morning began on an overcast note with rains soon following suit. Since then, Mumbai rains have been continuing and are likely to be seen through the entire day as well. In fact, in just three hours time between 8:30 am and 11:30 am, Santa Cruz saw a good 30 mm of rains.
Now, more rainfall activity is expected to be seen in Mumbai and many parts may record three digit rains as well.
Moreover, tomorrow and day after tomorrow rains will be on the heavier side only with possibility of water logging and traffic chaos in many parts. In fact, three digit rainfall are expected to make an appearance over the city of Mumbai. Thus, once again, Mumbai will see a rainy weekend ahead.
