During the last 24 hours, eastern parts of Rajasthan continued to receive good rainfall activity. Many other districts of the state also received good rainfall. Mainly moderate rains occurred over eastern and southeastern parts of the state.
However, extreme western parts of the state like Jaisalmer and Barmer remained dry.

In the last 24 hours from 08:30 am on Friday, Bhilwara 38 mm, Churu 28 mm, Bikaner 24 mm, Sikar 18 mm, Sawai Madhopur 13 mm, Alwar and Jaipur 10 mm, Kota 8.9 mm, Udaipur 8 mm, Pilani 3.7 mm, Ajmer 0.2 mm.
At present, a trough is seen extending from Anupgarh, Sikar and then towards center of the low-pressure. Thus, rainfall activity is likely to continue over the eastern and southeastern parts of the state in the coming days with moderate to heavy spells.
Lightning is also expected over remaining parts of the Rajasthan expect the extreme western parts. Parts of extreme South Rajasthan like Sarahi, Udaipur, Bhilwara and Mount Abu may receive heavy to very heavy rain during the next 24 to 48 hours.
Moreover, places like Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Ajmer, Kota, Bundi, Jodhpur and Alwar may receive moderate rain spells and remaining all parts will witness light rainfall activity.
Due to rainfall activities, day temperatures are also likely to drop over the state and weather is expected to become pleasant.
