At present, the well-marked low pressure lies over North Coastal Odisha and adjoining region. This system would be moving west/northwestwards.

Hence, moist winds will be prevailing over Telangana region. But northern parts of Telangana will be affected more than all the other parts of the state. Therefore, moderate to heavy rain will occur over extreme north and northeastern parts of the state.

Places like Adilabad, Karimnagar, Bhadrachalam, Khammam, Hanamkonda and Nizamabad will receive moderate to heavy rains during the next 48 hours.

Thereafter, rainfall activity is likely to decrease. However, southern parts of the state will still continue to be moist and cloudy, thus light rains cannot be ruled out.

The capital city, Hyderabad along with other places such as Nalgonda, Madek, Mahbubnagar may receive light rainfall activity.

Talking about the temperatures, the day temperatures are expected to settle between 28 to 29 degrees, making the weather conditions pleasant.
