Only light rains may occur over the city during the next two to three days and one or two odd moderate spell cannot be ruled out. As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, no panic situations will arise as heavy rains will not make an appearance that could lead to floods and water logging. The rain belt is shifting North of Chennai, therefore, moderate to heavy rains would occur over coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Tamil Nadu including Chennai will be spared from hefty showers. Although, the sky conditions may become cloudy to overcast and the temperatures may also fall by 2°C to 3°C. It is anticipated that the sea conditions may become rough around December 6 to 8. Though rains will not be heavy but moderate winds and rough sea may pose some difficulties to the fishermen, hence it is advised to take precautions.
