The state of Uttarakhand has been seeing intense rainfall activities for the past couple of days. In fact, rains have been on the higher side for the month of July. During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Monday, Pantnagar saw 110 mm, and Dehradun recorded 83 mm.
More rainfall activity is coming up with some intense and hefty spells for a few regions of the state. These showers are because of the oscillation of trough along with the presence of the Western Disturbance over the hills.
For the next couple of days, the foothills will be more susceptible to heavy rains however, the rest of the state will also see some rainfall activity. Moreover, the Pauri Garhwal region will be seeing lesser rains as compared to the Kumaon region.
