Sun is boasting its sunshine making the weather conditions across the country hot and humid. The hot weather conditions prevailing in the country have shot up the mercury levels to such an extent that it seems impossible to face the heat.

Most parts of the country are witnessing heatwave like conditions wherein the day temperatures are shooting up several notches and settling close to or above the 40-degree mark.

Similarly, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are also on a strong likelihood to follow the suit. In the last 24 hours, the day temperatures in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh witnessed mounting heights and settled beyond 40°C at most of the districts.

The table below depicts the maximum temperatures recorded in both the states on Monday:

Skymet Weather further reiterates that the temperatures in both the states are likely to scale up even more within the next 48 hours thereby paving way for heatwave like conditions to prevail. The reason for the heatwave conditions is the presence of the southerly winds that are blowing over the region.

Moreover, due to the rising temperatures, the humidity levels across these states have also risen especially during afternoon hours.

All these factors are expected to contribute in the daytime high to rise more and thus, heatwave conditions are likely to stretch its leg and engulf Telangana, Andhra Pradesh including Rayalaseema. The immense heatwave like conditions are more prone to sunstrokes and hence precaution is advised.
