The reason for this rise in the temperatures can be attributed to the warm northwesterly winds blowing over the region from the hotter regions of Balochistan and Sindh wherein the maximums are already getting arrested near 47-degree Celsius.

As per Skymet Weather, until May 28, heatwave conditions would continue in a few more parts of Haryana. Moreover, it will expand in some other districts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh as well. Most parts of Vidarbha, isolated pockets of Marathwada and North Madhya Maharashtra as well as parts of Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.

A change in the weather conditions can be expected around May 28 and this would be the time when pre-Monsoon activities would once again commence. We expect the temperatures to start dropping around May 29 and heatwave would abate from many parts of these regions but may continue in parts of Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat.
