When most parts of the country are relishing pre-Monsoon showers, there are a few states that are still reeling under heatwave conditions. Few states in the Central and South India region are still enveloped under intense heatwave conditions. These weather conditions are attributed to the absence of any weather activity over the regions. Currently heat wave is occurring at some pockets of Maharashtra, Telangana and Rajasthan.
Ramagundan in Telangana has temperatures 4°C above normal, with 45.8°C. Whereas Nizamabad district in Telangana is also facing scorching heatwave conditions with 44.9°C maximum temperatures.
Coming to Maharashtra, the heat wave has conquered isolated parts of Vidarbha and Madhya Maharashtra with temperatures going above normal. Chandrapur’s temperature settled at 46.2°C, which happens to be 3°C above normal. Maximum temperatures in Wardha at settled 45.5°C whereas in Nagpur at 45.9°C, 3°C above normal. There is no such weather system over these regions of Maharashtra which could give people some relief from the heatwave.
The state of kings, Rajasthan is going through severe heat wave conditions. Temperatures are settling above normal in most of the regions. The maximum temperature in Bundi went up to 46.2°C, which above normal. The study capital of India, Kota is another region of Rajasthan with maximum temperature of 45.1°C. Sriganganagar is also another district with maximum temperatures of 45.1°C.
