Temperatures have been on the higher side across Central India including the states of Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. The temperatures continue to settle above the normal levels over all these areas but not sufficiently high to reach the heatwave level.
At present, winds in the lower atmospheric levels are strong even over the national capital. This is the reason that temperatures are not reaching higher levels as they are being suppressed due to these winds.
However, these winds are now expected to slow down along with which a circulation is also expected to be seen over west Rajasthan region due to which temperatures are expected to witness a rise once again.
Therefore, heatwave conditions are expected to make a comeback over parts of West Rajasthan, western parts of Madhya Pradesh, and a few areas of Gujarat as well by Monday. These conditions are expected to persist over the aforementioned areas until March 29, being at its peak around March 28 and 29.
