Heat wave to grip parts of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Vidarbha and Madhya Pradesh

As dry weather is prevailing over Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Winds blowing over the region are currently northerly and northwesterly in nature and are dry. Moreover, moisture levels have also reduced over the Tamil Nadu region and rest of South India.

Hence, temperatures are now all set to set to rise. A Cyclonic Circulation lies over northern parts of Telangana. This will also act as a factor in causing rise in temperatures over Telangana and many other parts of South India.

Thus, heat wave conditions are likely to prevail over many parts during the next two to three days. Areas which will remain under the influence of heat wave includes Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and North Interior Karnataka. Vidarbha will also see heat wave conditions in some pockets.

In fact, central parts of the country may see heat wave conditions making an appearance as dry and warm Westerly winds are prevailing over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan region in the next two to three days.

Temperatures will continue to rise due to which heat wave conditions are possible in many parts of South India as well as Central India.
