Heat wave conditions continue to persist in many parts of Vidarbha, few areas of Marathwada and Madhya Maharashtra. Temperatures in these areas have been settling above the 45 degree mark. Few parts of Telangana and isolated areas of Madhya Pradesh are also under the grip of heat wave.
Now, these heat wave conditions will continue over the Vidarbha as well as Madhya Pradesh for about three more days. Moreover, Telangana will continue to see heat wave conditions for about four more days now.
Northwesterly dry winds are blowing over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and parts of Telangana. Eastern parts of Telangana are observing southerly winds which are also hot in nature as they are travelling from Southern Peninsular region including Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu.
We do not expect much weather activity over Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha. However, Telangana may see isolated rains and thundershowers during the next 24 to 48 hours. As these weather activities, like typical Pre Monsoon showers will occur during the late afternoon and evening hours, maximums will continue to follow a similar trend.
Minimums on the other hand in Telangana may see some drop, which has been the case over Hyderabad after intense rain activities yesterday. Minimum in Hyderabad is settling below the normal levels.
Nights will remain slightly comfortable, but day will remain humid and hot which is a usual pattern wherein heat wave conditions do appear over these areas.
On the other hand, Chhattisgarh has escaped the heat wave at present and only heat wave like conditions will persist.
