Dry and hot weather conditions with clear skies have been prevailing over parts of Madhya Pradesh since the last few days. On the contrary, dust storm and light rains were observed over northern districts of the state on May 23 and 24. These rains were a result of the Western Disturbance that was present over the Western Himalayas at that point of time.
At present, no significant weather system is seen over Madhya Pradesh and its adjoining region. In the absence of significant system, dry and warm northwesterly winds are prevailing over the region. Moreover, sky conditions are clear.
According to Skymet Weather, temperature pattern will increase over Madhya Pradesh during next few days due to dry winds and clear skies. This would also lead to heat wave as well as heat wave like conditions over many parts of the state.

Heat wave conditions will mostly cover the southern parts of Madhya Pradesh such as Khargone, Khandwa, Hoshangabad, Khajuraho, Indore and Satna.
These conditions will continue for next three to four days. Moreover, a gradual rise in temperature would be observed.
