Rajasthan especially the western part of the state continues to remain the hot belt of the country. While in East Rajasthan isolated dust storm activity is being observed. And if we talk about Northwest India including the national capital Delhi, dry weather condition has been prevailing for a while now.

A Cyclonic Circulation currently lies over Central Pakistan and adjoining Northwest Rajasthan. While another Cyclonic Circulation is over Northwest Uttar Pradesh and a trough from this system is extending up to East India.

The easterly moist winds are reaching up to Uttarakhand. Whereas, southwesterly dry and warm winds will be seen over Rajasthan, parts of Haryana and Delhi. Whereas dry north-westerlies would be blowing over Punjab and most parts of Haryana.

As the Western Disturbance moves away, north-westerly winds are expected in the plains of the country barring parts of Uttar Pradesh where the south-easterly wind would blow. Hence, the rise in temperature is expected in most parts of the Northwest Plains.

Whereas, isolated dust storm and thunderstorm activity might occur over parts of Northwest Uttar Pradesh like Saharanpur, Moradabad and Muzaffarnagar, parts of Haryana and Northeast Punjab like Karnal, Panchkula, and Chandigarh.

In view of the changing weather, temperatures might rise further in Haryana, Delhi, and Rajasthan. Heat wave condition is also likely to enhance in some more parts of Southwest Haryana, extreme south Punjab, few parts of Southwest Uttar Pradesh and more parts of Rajasthan.

Severe heat wave conditions are also expected in places like Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Phalodi in Rajasthan. Kota, Ajmer, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bhatinda, Sirsa and Hisar too will reel under heat wave conditions.
