Delhi and the NCR region is all set to see another round of heat. Temperatures had slightly dropped over the national capital however yesterday we did see an increase in the maximum temperatures which was recorded at 32.3°C witches 7° above the normal levels.

Now, heat has started to catch up and we can see a further increase in mercury levels. Temperatures will remain above normal for the entire week. The maximum had reached 33.6 degrees, which was recorded on Feb 29 abd 9 degree abive normal.

For the past ten days, the national capital has seen maximums above 30 degrees continuosuly, Today, temperayures may be similar in nature and will remain around 32-33 degrees.

The reason, there is some activity up north on account of a Western Disturbance, which will be reinforced by another system tomorrow. Delhi is slightly far away from the firing range of the system which is why we do not expect any rainfall activity to be seen due to the western disturbance along with a cyclonic circulation which will be seen affecting the foothills of North India. Some clouds may come up on March 1 and 2, but rains do not seem likely.

Moreover, the month of February will definitely end on a dry note and nothing promising is expected in the initial days of March as well. Rainy spell up north will be very light and will not result in reduction of any heat. Nights will remain above normal but nit excessively and will somehow remain comfortable.
