The Western Disturbance which is expected to approach the northern hills in the coming days will induce a cyclonic circulation over western parts of Rajasthan.

Therefore, we expect isolated thunderstorm activities to occur over western parts of the state on April 4. Between April 5 and 8, the intensity and spread of these weather activities will increase over most parts of the state.

Intermittent rain and thundershower activities accompanied with dust storm may occur over northern and northwestern parts of Rajasthan particularly Hanumangarh, Sri Ganganagar, Churu, Bikaner, Alwar, Sikar and Dholpur.

Meanwhile, the weather in the remaining parts of the state like Jodhpur, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Kota, Bundi, Barmer, Tonk and Udaipur will be hot and dry.

The day temperatures in the northern half of the state will witness marginal drop in the wake of upcoming weather activity. In fact, heatwave like conditions are expected to ease in most parts of Rajasthan.

As the Pre-Monsoon season has commence, such weather activities like thunderstorm and dust storm will keep increasing. By mid-April the intensity will increase further, and wind speed will reach up to 70 kmph.
