As per the weather experts at Skymet Weather, the weather conditions seem to be favorable for another spell of pre-Monsoon activity over Punjab as well as Haryana from Friday onward.

There are likelihoods of isolated rains today as well, however the intensity and spread of the showers will intensify between April 6-10. Moreover, during this time frame, dust storm is also expected over few parts that may inflict chaos among the farmers and residents. The rain and thunderstorms will also be accompanied with squally winds.

These weather activities would aid in reducing the day maximums by three to four degree Celsius. As of now, the temperatures are settling above normal and as the rains approach mercury would drop and range near the normal level.

As on Wednesday, Narnaul recorded a maximum temperature of 41°C, Rohtak 39°C, Hisar 39°C, Karnal 36°C, Patiala 37°C, Ambala 36°C, Chandigarh 35°C and Amritsar 34°C.

As far as agriculture is concerned, crops are all set to be harvested, so these pre-Monsoon activities inclusive of high velocity winds and hailstorm may end up in crop damage.
