Due to the presence of a confluence zone over Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand region, warm and moist air mass from Bay of Bengal is mixing with the moist air mass from the Western Disturbance.

Hence, the sky conditions will remain overcast to cloudy over these regions. Light to moderate rain and thundershowers along with strong winds will start affecting many places of Vidarbha, central and northern parts of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and western parts of Jharkhand region.

Meanwhile, during the next 24 to 48 hours, hail storm will be witnessed over parts of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, western and central parts of Jharkhand and northeastern parts of Vidarbha.

Day temperatures are likely to decrease by 2-3°C, whereas night temperatures will be seen decreasing initially by 1-2°C. After the occurrence of rain, thundershower and hailstorm, the cloud will start decreasing and day temperatures will start increasing.

Western parts of Madhya Pradesh are likely to receive light rain at two places because of the induced cyclonic circulation over Northwest India. In fact, northwestern parts of Madhya Pradesh are expected to receive rain during the next 24-36 hours, thus, decreasing the day temperatures and increasing night temperatures marginally.
