Cyclone Maha has weakened into a Depression today morning. Now it is lying as a Well Marked Low Pressure Area south of Gujarat in Northeast Arabian Sea. The system is likely to weaken further.

Due to its impact, light to moderate rains have occurred over coastal parts of Gujarat such as Veraval, Rajkot, Baroda, Surat, Ahmedabad, Valsad and Diu.

Now, as the weather system is weakening further therefore, we do not expect much weather activity over Gujarat. Isolated light rains are also possible over Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Panchmahal, Dahanu, and Chotta Udaipur.
