People across Gujarat breathed a sigh of relief as day temperatures registered a significant drop, bringing much needed respite from the heat wave across the state.
According to Skymet Meteorology Division in India, a fresh Western Disturbance over North India and an induced cyclonic circulation over Gujarat and Rajasthan have given isolated rain in the state. In wake of the system, there has been a change in wind pattern that has led to drop in temperatures.
The day temperatures, which have been settling above the 40-degree mark, are now settling close to normal or even below normal. Moreover, nights have also become slightly cooler, though minimum temperatures are still settling above average.
