Rains are all set to pay a second visit to Delhi-NCR, but this time for a longer duration. According to Skymet Meteorology Division in India, a fresh Western Disturbance is seen approaching North India and is presently marked over Afghanistan region.
The system will start affecting the hills and plains of Northwest India by October 24 and subsequently, we can expect rain and thundershowers over the national capital on October 25 and 26.
Moreover after a gap of mere 24 to 36 hours, another successive Western Disturbance combined with an induced cyclonic circulation over Haryana and adjoining North Rajasthan will be affecting the region. This will again give good rains over plains of Northwest India including Delhi.
Rains will be patchy in nature but will be capable of bringing down the day temperature in the city. At present, the maximum temperature is settling well above normal by at least two to three degrees.
